Why You’ll Love These Brownies
• Extra rich, dark, and chocolatey
• Naturally sweetened with maple or agave syrup
• Made with almond butter and flour alternatives
• Super quick — from bowl to bite in 20 minutes
Ingredients
• 6 tbsp cocoa powder
• 1 cup almond butter
• ⅔ cup pure agave syrup
• ½ cup oat flour or almond flour
• 1½ tsp baking soda
• ⅛ tsp salt
• Optional: chocolate chips as desired
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Line an 8-inch pan with parchment paper or grease well, and set aside.
2. Stir all ingredients in a bowl until smooth. (If your almond butter is dry, add 2 tbsp of milk to thin the batter.)
3. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula or parchment. Batter will rise, so don’t worry if it looks thin.
4. Add chocolate chips on top if desired. Bake for 15 minutes on the centre rack — they’ll look slightly underbaked when ready.
5. Let sit for at least 30 minutes for gooey brownies or overnight for firm, rich, perfect squares. The flavour deepens by the next day!
Pro Tip:
Can’t wait? Cool them in the fridge for 10 minutes before slicing. But if you can wait until tomorrow… they’ll be even fudgier and more intense. Totally worth it.
Make It Your Own
Sprinkle in chopped walnuts, swirl with peanut butter, or top with flaky sea salt for extra flair. These brownies love a good upgrade.
